Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What if I don't have insurance?
A: No Problem! We don't accept any form of insurance.
Q: What if I don't have an appointment?
A: We accept patients who walk in without an appointment, however you may have to wait for patients with an appointment to be seen first. Walk-in patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, so it it best to arrive early, if you cannot make an appointment.
Q: What if I have an emergency?
A: If you have an emergency, please call 911. We do not provide emergency health care treatment.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Our fee schedule is based on your income, family size, and ability to pay. In almost all cases, our charges are less than other clinics, including "minute clinics", pharmacy services, or other private practices.
Q: What about quality of care? How can you provide high quality healthcare at such low cost?
A: Grant Park Clinic is a non-profit medical ministry. We are not in business to make a profit for a corporation, but only to provide healthcare to those who need it. Our patient payments only cover a percentage of our costs; the rest is made up for by grants and donations from churches, businesses, and individuals.
Q: How do I make an appointment?
A: Call us at 404-627-4259, or send us a message using the form located HERE.
Q: Where is your office located?
A: Please go to contact page located HERE, and click on the map.
Q: Is Grant Park Clinic a "free clinic?
A: We are not a free clinic. At one time, donations to Grant Park Clinic were enough to cover all our expenses. During that time, we were happy and blessed to provide our services free of charge to those in need. Currently however, we are not able to do this. If we are to continue in our mission, we must charge our patients at least a minimum amount in order to remain open. We are prayerful and hopeful that donations in the future will increase to the levels that will allow us to eliminate charges as we did in the past.
